CV

Mair has 10 years professional experience designing and making costumes for film, TV, photo shoots and commercials and therefore a thorough understanding of the production process and skill required.  She is familiar with working from a brief, creating drawings and turning ideas into original and innovative finished garments within a limited budget.

In addition, she is highly adept at sourcing historical costumes, making from scratch or buying and customising clothes.  During filming she is accustomed to running a busy wardrobe department in a studio or on location, working under pressure and if necessary, adapting ideas in order to best fulfil the needs of the production team.

With a BA Hons Degree in Textiles, she has a variety of practical skills, including a strong sense of style and colour, excellent cutting and making skills together with a positive and professional attitude to her work.
